RM Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreperson to lead our electrical workshop team in the manufacturing of custom-built switchboards. This hands-on role is suited for someone with strong leadership qualities and has a background in switchboard assembly, electrical systems, or industrial manufacturing. Permanent position paying $55-$57p/h penalties super, based on experience. Key Duties: Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the switchboard workshop Lead a team of electricians, apprentices, and trades assistants to meet production targets Interpret and allocate work based on technical drawings and job specifications Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment Monitor job progress and ensure high standards of quality control Provide training and mentoring to junior staff Liaise with project managers, engineering, and procurement teams to meet deadlines Ensure compliance with WHS and company policies Skills and Requirements: Experience in switchboard manufacturing or electrical panel building QLD Electrical License Leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Strong communication and organisational skills High attention to detail and commitment to safety Must have permanent work rights in Australia Apply online, alternatively contact Andre Mitchell on 0402 966 075 or email andrem@rm-group.com.au for further information.
